1. To connect to the server you must first create an account at http://www.minecraft.net/register.jsp. You will also need to purchase Minecraft in order to play the beta version.
2.Once you have completed step one, download the Minecraft client here.
3. Once you have downloaded the client open it and this screen should come up. Log in to your account .
4. After you log in, you will come to this screen and you should click Multiplayer.
5. After you click Multiplayer, you should see a box where you put the IP of the server you wish to connect to in.
